Notes:I think this would actually be a good advertising strategy for a product to keep us on the same channel. We wouldn't lift an eyebrow if you changed the channel normally from an infomarcial, but now it seems unusual becuase the presenter is drawing attention to your lack of attention. Simply put, changing the channel is admitting to yourself that you need the prduct in question, so you are less likely to change. |
